The Maestro Trio was formed five years ago with the three renowned International artists John Morgan (baritone), Robin Colvill (piano) and Kim Colvill (piano and narration). They perform entertaining and varied programmes of classical and light classical music, with fascinating introductions about the composers. Their programmes include piano solos and duets and works for piano and voice by composers that include: Handel, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Quilter, Sibelius, Verdi, Tosti and Joplin. Some of their programme include more contemporary works from the 20th and 21st centuries, including a joyous medley of Gershwin favourites, songs from Gilbert & Sullivan operettas and songs from the West End and Broadway Shows.

John has sung all over the world in operas, oratorios and solo concerts. He is recognized as one of Britain’s finest and most exciting ‘dramatic’ baritones and renowned for his “big, strong, dark-timbred voice”. He is a regular performer at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London. Robin and Kim Colvill, who have been performing together for over twenty five years, are well-known for their unique and entertaining concert programmes. Robin is a distinguished concert pianist and chamber musician and his wife and music partner, Kim, is a wonderful communicator, musicologist and accompanist.
